Hello colleagues,
Below I've pasted an email from OCLC saying that they are having issues with processing IR records that their member institutions have sent them.
While we wait to hear that this issue has been resolved, we will be putting the OCLC weekly routine on hold once more.
When we do resume this routine, I would urge you all to closely monitor the records you've sent to MARS and OCLC and make sure that they appear in Worldcat correctly.
Thank you for your understanding and patience- please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions.
Thank you,
Jenn Nolte

NOTE FROM OCLC:
To Our Institution Record (IR) Users:
As you may be aware, OCLC has experienced some recent issues with Batchload IR processing. We first discovered the problems during the week of October 14. All IR projects have been intermittently On Hold since October 18.
At this time, we have installed fixes to correct the issues. We are working on identifying files that were processed during this timeframe and that had incorrect results; these files will be reprocessed. Any Batchload files that were received (and not processed) while the projects were On Hold will be submitted and processed in the order in which they were received. Once we are caught up with the backlog files, all IR projects will be set back to Active status; new incoming files will be automatically submitted and processed as normal, generally within 24 to 48 hours.
If you have any special processing requirements or related questions, please use the batchinfo at oclc.org<mailto:batchinfo at oclc.org> email address, including your OCLC symbol and project ID in the subject line.
Thank you for your patience as we have worked to resolve these issues.
