Thanks Éva. I had another meeting planned for late this month in the lecture hall, but had to bump it into November. The date is Tues., Nov. 18, from 2-3. We had discussed opening it up to a wider audience, so I'll send a message to yulib as the date gets closer.

Hi, check out the post by Karen Smith-Yoshimura on BF Testing and Implementation: http://hangingtogether.org/?p=4487 : it is a summary of recent discussions among OCLC Research Library Partners metadata managers

Is there a' next' BIBFRAME discussion date scheduled?

Thanks,

Éva

Subject: [Yulcat-l] BibFrame discussion

Next week, a number of us from various units in the library are going to get together for an informal discussion about the Library of Congress's Bibliographic Framework Initiative (BibFrame), and how the YUL might participate in its development.

So far there are about a dozen people in the group, but I'd like to extend an open invitation to anyone else who would be interested in joining the discussion. The scheduled date\time is Monday, Sept. 22, from 2-3 in SML 118B (the tech services conference room). If the group gets larger I'll find another venue, so if you plan to attend please let me know off-list.

Some information can be found here: http://www.loc.gov/bibframe/

Thanks,
