During the forum, Melanie Polutta and Bob Maxwell demonstrated how to use the Official RDA Toolkit with the LC-PCC Policy Statements (LC-PCC PSs) and the Metadata Guidance Documentation (MGD). I highly recommend their presentation as an introduction to navigate the official RDA Toolkit with relevant documentation to catalog a book. The forum is available at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBbyuc8ZH2Y Scroll to 49:22 to watch Melanie and Bob's presentation. Due to time constraints, the demonstration is fast. Don't panic. Just watch and listen to see how much you can absorb, or use the power of the pause and rewind buttons to try to follow along using the Toolkit and documentation. If you want to follow along, you will need to access the official RDA Toolkit: https://access.rdatoolkit.org/ and to login to your own profile. Make sure to select LC-PCC PS under "Views > Manage Views" at the top of the screen. Do not hesitate to let me know if you need help doing that. Finally, you will need the RDA Metadata Guidance Documentation (MGD): https://www.loc.gov/aba/rda/mgd/ As a reminder, PCC should not implement the official RDA Toolkit before October 2022. The LCDGT Advisory Group does not consider this city to be prominent enough to include in LCDGT.
