The Cataloger's Desktop team will release Issue 1 for 2023 tomorrow, February 14, at 4 PM EST.  Cataloger's Desktop will be unavailable beginning at this time.  The service will become fully available once all work on the release is complete, likely within an hour.

Dear catalogers,
We are all facing the inevitability of moving from Voyager to a new LSP, and no matter which platform is chosen, we?re going to have to learn to catalog in OCLC. Don?t panic! As an introduction to what that might be like, Dominique Bourassa will give a ? hour presentation 10am, Feb. 23rd on her experience cataloging Yale material in Connexion and WMS, with a period for questions after. Dominique has cataloged both regular monographs and special collections, so her experience is broadly applicable.

This won?t be a training session, but rather a look at the pleasures and pitfalls of working in this new system. We look forward to seeing you.
