[Yulcat-l] Voyager Tag Table update this week

Good afternoon all,

The Voyager tag tables will be updated this Wednesday, January 29th.

The update includes:

  *   Bibliographic data format changes (No. 39, December 2024) listed at https://www.loc.gov/marc/bibliographic/bdapndxg.html
  *   Authority and Holdings data were not changed

There is no action needed on your part - the update should install automatically when you connect to VPN if you are off-campus, or when you log into your PC if you are on-campus. If you experience any errors, please let Library IT know through the report a problem form.

As a reminder, please ensure your Voyager settings do NOT bypass MARC validation. This will be the LAST tag table update in Voyager before the migration to Alma.

Note: this MARC update has not been implemented in OCLC yet, so use caution working between systems.
