Dear EBSCO Customer,
We are pleased to announce plans to release the following EBSCO/host/
and EBSCO/admin/ enhancements, in late summer 2006. You will receive a
final communication about these features, just a few days before they
become available.
Here are the key components of the upcoming software release. Details
and screen shots on these features are available here.

On EBSCO/host/:
* There will be a domain change (/epnet/ will change to
/ebscohost/); for example, http://search.epnet.com will change to
http://search.ebscohost.com.
* EBSCO/host/ will receive a new look to celebrate its 10th
anniversary.
* Certain long limiter lists will include individual limiter
checkboxes.
* Result List Clustering will be added to multiple interfaces.
* Visual Search will be added to multiple interfaces.
* A separate button for AP Sources will be added to the Student
Research Center.
* Many articles will include a "Find More Like This" feature.
* Canadian versions of the Student Research Center, Literary
Reference Center and Consumer Health Complete interfaces will
become available.
* The /Industry Standard Citation/ text from the Print/Email/Save
Managers will be changed to /Citation Format./
* Search screen footers will include a link to EBSCO's Support site
across all interfaces.
On EBSCO/admin/:
* Reports & Statistics will be enhanced to feature a dashboard of
graphical and trends report choices.
* There will no longer be a default selection of the first database
in a profile, if the library administrator has all databases set
to OFF.
* Two new Macromedia Flash tutorials will be added to EBSCO/admin/:
Multilingual Options and Branding.
* Library administrators will be able to set Advanced Search as the
default screen for the Student Research Center.
General:
* EBSCO/host/, all other interfaces and EBSCO/admin/ are best viewed
via these browsers:
o Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5+
o Firefox 1.5
o Macintosh: Safari 1.1
