[Yulpub] Serials Solutions and cataloging requests for online journals]

Dear colleagues,
    Youn asked me to pass this along to the selector community so that 
you can all be aware of the change in directing e-journal catalog 
requests within the Catalog Department.

    This affects both requests for Orbis records for new online journals 
as well as reports of problems with existing online journals records.

    Please share this information with others of your colleagues that 
handle the workflow for new online journals or do troubleshooting at 
service points.

    The change only affects the communication flow with regards to 
catalog records.     Continue to send reports of new journals to Nisa 
Bakkalbasi <nisa.bakkalbasi at yale.edu> for inclusion in our YaleLinks 
Link Resolver and our Online Journals A-Z list on the website.  Also 
pass to Nisa any problems you uncover with journals listed in the 
YaleLinks Link Resolver and our Online Journals A-Z list on the website.

Hello all,

Catalog Management will be taking over responsibility for maintaining our 
Serials Solutions profile and coordinating Serials Solutions record loads 
with ILTS.

Please send cataloging requests for online journals to Eva Bolkovac by 
email (eva.bolkovac at yale.edu) or using this form:

http://www.library.yale.edu/cataloging/mst/marc/ss.php

which will generate an email to Eva.  This change applies to new cataloging 
requests, as well as catalog maintenance requests (deleting non-Serials 
Solutions records, updating links, updating coverage dates, etc.).

Kim, could you let selectors know about the change?
