Dear colleagues,

We have a two-week trial to Public Documents Masterfile. Here is the
vendor's description of this database:

"As of September 1, 2006, Public Documents Masterfile contains over
4,000,000 records, including:
Title information for all federal government documents from 1789 forward with SuDocs numbers.Hundreds of thousands of subject index
entries from Poore's, Hickcox and the GPO Monthly Catalog.Full bibliographic records for all post July 1976 GPO documents.Full
bibliographic records for all public documents held by the Library of Congress from all sources and for all dates.Initial files of full
bibliographic records for state, provincial and international public
documents."

Paratext (the vendor) also claims that "if a full text version of a
document exists, PDM points you to it."

PDM is available: http://pubdocs.odyssi.com/
and through the library's A-Z list of databases.

Please send comments to me by 12/20. Feel free to forward this to
anyone who might be interested.

Thanks,
Julie
