"WorldCat.org is a new destination Web site that allows people inside and
outside the library environment to discover and use the resources of WorldCat
libraries."

One of the info blurbs on the front door of this site is the following:

"<<Create a WorldCat link with embedded search terms>>
< http://www.worldcat.org/links/default.jsp >
Link people to WorldCat results for one or more subject, author or title
keywords. Also: Link to the WorldCat page for an item by standard number."

This might be of particular interest to those folks who maintain subject- or
service-specific research guides or websites.
