PLEASE JOIN US FOR A COLLEGE FAIR!
Want to learn more about obtaining an undergraduate or graduate degree, but
just haven't had enough time to get the information you need? Well, the
YUL Diversity Council, in collaboration with SCOPA (Standing Committee on
Professional Awareness) is bringing the information to YOU!
WHAT? A College Fair!
WHEN? Tuesday, May 22, 11:00 am - 2:00 pm (stop in anytime!)
WHERE? Sterling Memorial Library Lecture Hall
WHO? Representatives from many area colleges and universities will be
on hand to discuss their array of programs and ways that you can pursue
your degree on their (live and virtual) campuses. The following
institutions will be present: Albertus Magnus College, Southern
Connecticut State University, Gateway Community College, University of New
Haven, Quinnipiac University, Fairfield University, and Simmons College
(for those interested in pursuing a master's degree in library science from
Simmons).
Additionally, we will also have Yale University / YUL representatives who
will be able to discuss tuition assistance and other valuable educational
benefits. YUL employees who are currently enrolled in a degree-program, or
have recently completed degrees at neighboring institutions, will be
present to answer questions, share their experiences, and encourage
interested staff to pursue further educational opportunities.
Both the YUL Diversity Council and SCOPA hope that members of our diverse
campus community attend, collect information, and come away with valuable
and practical ideas for career development through further education.
Light refreshments will be served throught the College Fair.
HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!
