Dear RefWorks Administrator:

During the week of January 12th, 2009, RefWorks is scheduled to release another feature upgrade to the program. As in prior releases, most of the new features and enhancements will be available instantly to all registered users without the need to download any upgrade programs. A notice of the January release, as detailed below, will be posted within the program for all users to review.

*         Ability to Save Search Strategies in Advanced Search

*         Improved Sorting of Japanese Characters

*         New Option Regarding OpenURL Linking from a Shared Folder or Database (Utilizing OCLC's WorldCat Gateway)

*         File Attachment Searching in a Shared Folder or Database

Miscellaneous Enhancements


*         Output Style Editor Tutorial

*         Other Miscellaneous Items


Please note that in order to assist our local RefWorks Administrators, we have added a new training webinar which will cover the January 2009 Release.  The following sessions are designed for RefWorks Administrators only and are now available for registration:
