Below is a list of import filters and output styles that were added or updated by RefWorks Technical Services team during the month of December 2008.

Corrections to Existing Import Filters (17):



- CiNii:  Corrected issue with author name and parsing

- Dialog - Datastar:  Corrected problem related to ERIC database and source information importing into NOTES field

- EBSCOHost (EconLit):  Moved the AV field containing PDF link to Links field, moved the PB field information "Finance and Economics Discussion Series" and "International Finance Discussion Papers" to the Series Title field, moved the PB information "200x-xx" or other numeric information to the Report Number field.

- Innovative Interfaces (Endnote/RefWorks Format):  Corrected issue with references not fully importing

- Innovative Interfaces INNOPAC: Added two new tags -- ALT NO (to Notes) and RELATED TI (to Secondary Title). Changed name from University of North Texas HSC to University of North Texas HSC (Full Display).

- JSTOR:  modified the tags so RT data would go into Title and GR data would go into Secondary Title, per request.

- MARC Format:  Updated to map references from U Paris V OPAC that have a 328 field as Dissertation/Thesis.  Also corrected author importing issue.

- NCJRS Abstracts Database:  Corrected problem with importing from a text file

- NLM PubMed:  Corrected issue with importing of Date of Electronic Publication.

- PICARTA:  Corrected issue with pub year not importing.

- RIS Format:   Modify RIS Format to include MAGZ ref type for Magazines imported from Gale Academic OneFile.  Fixed truncation issue.

- SIRSI Library Software:  Tagging fixes

Output Styles Updated (3):



- Academic Emergency Medicine: Changed this to a numeric style. Also changed author format to include 7 authors instead of 3.

- American Antiquity:  Relocated the period that is to follow "et al" from the Single and Multiple Author "Follow With" fields to the Author Setting's "followed by" field.  Corrected bibliography sort order and moved empty space between author and data in the in-text citation to follow the author names.

- APA - American Psychological Association 5th edition (All Four): Created new language group "No title and periodical casing". Added Catalan, French, German, Italian, Spanish language to the group. Remove all title and periodical casing from all defined reference types.

- Cereal Chemistry: Removed the Bold from the Author format. Removed the bold and italic from the Year format. Added a space after the colon in the Publisher information.

- Circulation Research: Corrected AUTHOR settings to "SHOW ALL AUTHORS" in all reference types as required by author guidelines.

- CSE - Council of Science Editors 7th Edition Author Year: Corrected author-less in-text citations to present title of reference instead of Anonymous per 29.2.1.2.6 in the CSE 7th Ed.

- Gastroenterology: Made the change to Authors to show the first three authors followed with et al.

- Journal of Food Protection; Changed the format of the Personal Communication. Removed the Editor information from the Author field.

- Journal of Midwifery and Women's Health: Style updated to match AMA 10th edition format according to Managing Editor of JMWH.

- Neuron: Changed the comma placement within the In-Text citation.

- Society of American Archaeology: Relocated the period that is to follow "et al" from the Single and Multiple Author "Follow With" fields to the Author Setting's "followed by" field.  Corrected bibliography sort order and moved empty space between author and data in the in-text citation to follow the author names.

- Tab Delimited*: Added headings and modified the tabbing between user fields 6-15.

- Turabian 7th Edition (Notes): Changed bibliography title to "References", changed title casing to sentence casing for titles.  Removed quotes from non-italicized titles, NotesChanged Abstract Thesis/Dissertation, Journal Article & Bills/Resolutions Page fields in Notes to Start Page only, Changed author settings for all ref types to Include All, Added Datasource and Database to Thesis/Dissertation, Changed all inclusive page fields to Abbreviated End Page, Added Performers field to Video/DVD.

- Turabian 7th Edition (Reference List) style: Updated so the publication year correctly goes between the author and the title when there is an author or after the title if there is no author, modified edited by and translated by to abbreviations, Changed author settings for all ref types to Include All, Added Datasource and Database to Thesis/Dissertation, Changed all inclusive page fields to Abbreviated End Page, Added Performers field to Video/DVD.
