Please join the Ivy Plus Research, Teaching, and Learning Affinity group as we explore a variety of AI platforms that we may encounter as academic librarians. The zoom meeting will take place on March 22, 2024, 2:00-3:00 PM Eastern.

This exploration will be in the form of 3-5 minute lightning talks about the following AI Platforms:

o    The AI Chatbot Frontier: Navigating the Ever-Changing Landscape as a Librarian (Ben Chiewphasa at Columbia University)
o    Perplexity Primer: Search Engine and Language Model (Willow Dressel at Princeton University)
o    Research Rabbit Hole: Deep Dive into AI Literature Exploration (Jenn Natale at Dartmouth College)
o    Connected Papers Chronicles: Enhancing Academic Discoveries (Rebecca Starkey at the University of Chicago)
o    SciTech Stories: Unveiling Insights with Scite (Niamh McGuigan at Brown University)
o    Adobe Firefly Flares: Illuminating Creative Pathways (Lee LaFleur at Harvard University)
o    Discussion about AI driven by in-meeting survey questions.

We will share notes from the meeting, snap shots of the AI tools presented, and an AI Tool Template if you would like to fill out other items of interest that we can engage with asynchronously.
