Sorry for the cross-posting but this only happens once every 4 years - new 
web server on Tuesday morning - editing of pages should stop at noon on 
Monday - changes made after that will not be copied over to the new 
machine.
We will announce on Tuesday morning when it is OK to begin editing pages 
on the new box.

Next week we will put into production a new machine to serve as the Library Web 
Server - http://www.library.yale.edu .

We plan to cutover to the new machine at 8AM on Tuesday July 18.

Library web developers should not make changes to pages on www.library.yale.edu 
(ogma) after 12PM/noon on Monday July 17. Editing of pages can begin on the new 
server on Tuesday morning after the server has been cut-over. We will post an 
announcement on Tuesday morning when editing of pages can resume.

The new server name is dagda.library.yale.edu - the alias www.library.yale.edu 
will refer to it after Tuesday morning.
