UConn Author David Wagner: Presentation & Book Signing
Wed. September 21
7 pm, UConn Co-op (Storrs)

David L. Wagner will talk about his exciting new book, "Caterpillars of
Eastern North America" and show some of his favorite images from the work.
Wagner, an Associate Professor of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at
UConn, is a leading authority on moths, butterflies, their caterpillars,
and myriad other matters entomological. His lavishly illustrated guide
is not only a marvelous resource, but a pleasure to read. Check out the
species accounts for the Monkey Slug, Zebra, and Harris' Three-spot. In
addition, you'll learn where to look for caterpillars and how to rear
them. The book is finding a broad audience that extends from museum
curators, forest managers, and conservation biologists to nature
centers, schools, and backyard gardeners. Every naturalist will want to
own a copy of this unique work.
