[Ctleps-l] Some Variety (NY)

This is from Long Island (Edgewood Preserve, Commack area), but maybe useful
for reference.

1 Cabbage White

1 Eastern Pine Elfin

1 Northern Azure

4 Cherry Gall Azures

4 Eastern Tailed Blues

2 American Ladies

2 Juvenal's Duskywing (unusually low number for the area covered; maybe a
testament to a late season)

 

It's not a whole lot, but it's something. And after the long cold season,
it's better than nothing. Finally got to photograph a few butterflies, after
earlier in the day photographing Blue Grosbeaks and Red Fox kits on Fire
Island - certainly an interesting variety of photo subjects.
