[NHCOLL-L:726] Quest for the 1/2 gallon jar

Friends,
In the past the Echinoderm, Crustacea and Ichthyology departments of the
Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County have used 1/2 gallon glass
jars with a 120 mm opening to store specimens. Our vendors have informed us
they no longer distribute that size jar. We have consulted with Kols
Containers, General Bottles, Apex and Kimble but with no success. Does
anyone have a source for this particular jar? We appreciate any
information/advice that could help us in our quest.
