Dear colleagues,
I do not know how many of you are working in Museums and how many of you
have your own private collections.
But even as a private collectors how often do you visit local invertebrate
collections just to compare your specimens with museum types, paratypes or
just to look into local collection.

I am very interested what happening in US with invertebrate collections,
Very often happen what started in US few years later happen also in
Australia or somewhere else.

What happen if some scientist will need types from these closed collections
for his research? Will be types transferred to another OPEN museum
collections? Or we have to create lectotype because Types is NOT available?

Keep care and be of good cheer

Regards
