DEPARTMENT OF BOTANY

SYSTEMS AND DATABASE MANAGER

Starting Salary £26,490-£32,775 (Depending on experience)

The Natural History Museum, London invites applications from experienced 
professionals  to manage database and other systems in the Department of 
Botany.  Duties will include providing advice and technical expertise for 
development of databases; developing  web interfaces for databases and 
advising on compliance to standards. The post holder has responsibility for 
the  departmental IT budget and will also be expected to support 
development of GIS resources.

Candidates will be expected to have a degree or post graduate qualification 
in a biological science related subject, information technology and 
preferably both.  Experience in database and web development are essential.
