The Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Department of Zoology, seeks Collections Manager.

The Collections Manager shares the responsibility with Research & Collections staff for the management, access, and preservation of the Department of Zoology's permanent and temporary in-house collections, metadata, and digitized media located in storage and on exhibit. The Collection Manager supervises volunteers and interns. B.S. in Zoology or related field. At least one year of museum collections experience. Advanced degree preferred. 
- Facilitate the accession, deaccession, documentation, registration, and preparation of collections. 
- Organize and systematically store the collections. 
- Facilitate access and use of the collections for the purposes of research, education, loan, and exhibit. 
- Facilitate cataloging of collections, and organize and maintain associated collection data. 
- Facilitate preventive conservation procedures to provide long-term preservation for collections and associated collections data.
