[NHCOLL-L:5746] wind damage in Southern California

Over 50 trees felled by high winds forced the closing of the Huntington Library, Museum & Botanical Gardens (in San Marino) for two days, at least. The Los Angeles County Arboretum reportedly lost over 75 trees, and the Norton Simon Museum (in Pasadena) was closed on Thursday, perhaps due to access problems caused by power outages and street blockages.
