[Nhcoll-l] preventing pest damage to bird eggs

Hello folks.

I was wondering if anyone could recommend the best insect pest (or otherwise) and mold damage preventatives for a soon to be housed bird egg and nest collection? Is paradichlorobenzine still utilized? Can bird eggs be frozen without damage? There are approximately 3000 specimen lots in the collection. The institution is small with a limited budget and the collection is not likely to expand much in the coming years.

Thanks in advance.

Jay
