[Nhcoll-l] Preserving aquatic plants

Hello all, does anyone have recommendations for preserving aquatic plants?
We recently collected one and are trying to find the best way to preserve
it for potential future genetic work.  For the moment I have it stored dry
in a jar in the fridge.
