Dear friends and carillon enthusiasts,

Hello from Harkness Tower! Julie and I are the summer carillonneurs this  
year, and we are really excited to bring you this summer's concert series.  
The first concert is scheduled this Friday evening, and will feature Eddy  
Mariën, from Belgium. Eddy is currently city carillonneur at several  
Belgium cities, including Mechelen, where he also works as a professor at  
the Royal Carillon School.

The concerts are all free and open to members of the public, so please  
feel free to forward this email to your family and friends. Please also  
contact us if you have any queries. More information about the concert  
series, and the invited carillonneurs, can be found at

Venue: Branford College (on High Street and Elm Street), Yale University,  
New Haven. (Concert-goers are advised not to bring dogs.)
Date: June 18, 2010 (Friday); 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. Listening space is  
available in the Branford College courtyard, from 6:30 p.m.
Seating: Not provided, but audience members are encouraged to bring  
blankets and lawn chairs to the listening area.
