[Carillon-info] LAST SUMMER CONCERT - Friday 7/31

[Yale Summer Carillonneurs]

What a wonderful Thursday it is...

...and what a wonderful summer concert series we have had this year! The
2026 Yale Summer Concerts have been a pleasure to put on. It has been great
to meet all of you, and to build a community around a shared love of music.
Tomorrow, we will gather once more to share this special music. For the
final time this year, doors will open at 6:30PM, and the concert will last
from 7-8PM in the gorgeous Branford College Courtyard (74 High Street).
Concerts will be livestreamed on our YouTube channel (
https://www.youtube.com/@yaleguild) including a view of the playing cabin
where the performer will be playing!

This weeks performer is Isaiah Suchman!

Isaiah Suchman is a carillonneur originally from Providence, Rhode Island.
He graduated from Yale in 2025 with a B.A. in linguistics. During his four
years in the Yale University Guild of Carillonneurs, he studied under Ellen
Dickinson and served as co-chair from 2023 to 2024. He has also studied
under Eddy Mariën at the Royal Carillon School “Jef Denyn” in Mechelen,
Belgium, and has been a GCNA carillonneur member since 2025. Currently, he
lives and works as a high school teacher in the beautiful Chinese province
of Anhui, where he hopes that country’s first carillon will one day be
built.

We hope to see you tomorrow at our last summer concert tomorrow, and are
looking forward to celebrating the joys of music with everyone.
