On Sunday 4/22/01, while birding at Greewich Audubon Center, Patick Dugan,
Joe Bear and I saw a COMPTON TORTOISESHELL butterfly high up (20') on the
side of a deciduous tree along the down-slope of the apple orchard. It's
only the 2nd place I've seen one in CT, and thought it was noteworthy.
