I finally saw my first White-M Hairstreak for the year. Last year at this time I was seeing up to 8 White-m hairstreaks nectaring on Clethra alnifolia. I wonder if the late freeze we had that killed back the new growth on the Oaks in the area had an adverse effect on the hairstreak larvae? Comments welcome.
