White Admiral, etc

While birding Sunday, 6/10/01 with wife Linda, friends Charlie & Carol West 
(of Milford) and 2 of their friends at River Road, Kent, we saw:
1 WHITE ADMIRAL -well seen resting on a 2' high plant (species not 
determined), in close proximity to a Red-spotted Purple.  Unfortunately no 
photos taken, but ID was certain.  From end of road, walk straight through 
barrier down trail along Housatonic River.  At first clearing/ grassy field 
on left, take left footpath which goes directly past large dead/broken White 
Pine to back edge of clearing.

3 Red Admiral
