caterpillars

Just noticed that several leaves on my raspberry bush were looking kind
of "lacey".  Searched and finally found a caterpillar--greyish, almost
clear looking, with a dark stripe along the top, and what appeared to be
a dark mask.  Any ideas what we're hosting?  It was probably about an
inch long, as was another caterpillar I found on a vine between the
blackberry bush and the poison ivy--this one was striped lengthwise,
sort of browns and beige.
