Leaders needed

New Haven Parks Department is having a  Hawk Festival at Lighthouse Point 
in New Haven on Saturday, September 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.   Besides the 
Hawk watching, they would also like to have 1 hour ode/lep walks.  Walks 
could be just odes, just leps or both.  They are leaving a nice section of 
the field unmowed so there will be some good habitat.  If you are 
interested in helping please contact me.

There will be a live bird demonstration at noon, the carousel and the 
lighthouse will be open so it should be an interesting day.

Today I had at 6 - 10 monarchs, 15 + Red Admirals, sulphurs, cabbage 
whites, a dark swallowtail and lots of odes and I was sitting in one spot 
while I was focusing on hawks.
