Cabbage White
Clouded Sulphur, Orange Sulphur
Amer. Copper
Summer Azure
Pearl Crescent
Amer Lady, Painted Lady
Buckeye
American Snout
Red Spotted Purple
Red Admiral
Viceroy
Monarch Lots of these guys. Bodes well fo the CBA Monarch tagging day Sept 20
Common Wood Nymph
Silver Spotted Skipper
Least, Pecks, Tawny Edge, Long Dash, Ocola Skipper
Lots of Amer Ladies and Monarchs were seen. Many of the butterflies were in
perfect condition. The Long Dash was a tough sell but after much study(we did
capture and box it) it was a unanimous decision. the butterfly was released
after I/D was confirmed. Glassberg does state that there is a small brood in Aug.
Sept. Curious if there have been any other sightings of Long Dash this late
in the season.
