Monarch cats

I'm impressed to see all of those Monarch caterpillars surviving in the wild. I currently have about 20 hatchlings indoors. Earlier in the summer, I saw many signs of hatched caterpillars (small chewed circles on milkweed) in my milkweed patch, but no caterpillars, and I haven't seen a single late instar caterpillar outside. Figured it was time to give a little boost to the migrating generation!
