CBA field trip report

On Saturday, 8/21, 17 butterfliers joined me on the CBA field trip to  
Guilford.  We found 22 species of butterflies.  The list for the day  is as 
follows:
 
Jared Eliot Preserve ( a Guilford Land Trust property)
 
Spicebush Swallowtail (1)
Cabbage White (10)
Clouded Sulphur (2)
Orange Sulphur (1)
White M Hairstreak (1) (My first of the year)
Eastern Tailed Blue (1)
Summer Azure (1)
Pearl Crescent (20)
American Lady (1)
Red Admiral (1)
Common Buckeye (1)
Tawny Emperor (1) (an extremely worn individual on the New  York Ironweed)
Monarch (6)
Silver-spotted Skipper (4)
Least Skipper (2)
Peck's Skipper (10)
Sachem (3)
Broad-winged Skipper (2) (a very low number)
 
Chaffinch Island Park
 
Black Swallowtail (1)
