Dear Colleagues -

An interesting study showing how articles freely available online are
more highly cited. The trend is as inevitable as the need for
convenience in harried times, and the need for any competitive edge
one can get. 

This is a more detailed look at the current situation than the typical
conjecture one typically gets (including from me on EAS-INFO). Many
younger faculty I know have all their publications online, usually as
.pdf files linked to their Web pages, with an html abstract.
