CIPL (the Comité international permanent des linguistes) has asked me to circulate details of its latest Newsletter (no. 13), which has just been published.  In addition to news of recent and forthcoming events and publications, it contains details of the travel grants which CIPL offers to enable advanced students who have not yet completed a doctorate to give papers at international conferences.
