International Opportunities Fair is Tomorrow!
When:             Friday 9/25, 1-3pm
Where:            Payne Whitney Gym
Who:               58 study abroad programs & foreign universities,
                        20 internship/work exchange programs, volunteer organizations and non-profits
                        18 Yale departments & programs

Yale-in-London is going to Paris!
Mais oui, c'est vraie!  In Spring 2010, as part of the "Americans Abroad" course<http://ycba.yale.edu/education/edu_yil-courses.html>, which focuses on American expatriate writers living in Europe, Yale-in-London students will spend three days in Paris! Mark your calendars! - Upcoming Study Abroad Info Sessions & Events
Weekly Study Abroad Info Session
When: Mon., September 28, 2 - 3pm
Where: Room 305, 55 Whitney Ave, 3rd Floor
Description: Thinking about studying abroad? These general study abroad info meetings are a great way to get started! Study abroad advisers will be on hand to answer your questions about summer and term-time study abroad. Study abroad options are available world-wide and for all majors.

Study Abroad for Engineering, Science & Math Students
When: Mon., September 28, 4 - 5pm
Where: Room 305, 55 Whitney Ave, 3rd Floor
Description:  Come learn about study abroad programs specifically designed for students in these majors, and hear from Yalies who have fit study abroad into their academic plans.

Finding International Opportunities (internships)
When:  Monday, September 28, 4 - 5pm
Where:  Room 369, 55 Whitney Ave., 3rd Floor
Description:  This meeting will provide you with information about international internship opportunities as well as information on designing your own international experience. In addition, staff from the Office of Fellowship Programs will be available to answer questions about funding and general fellowship opportunities. Sponsored by the Office of Fellowship Programs and Undergraduate Career Services.

PKU Information Session
When: Tue., September 29, 12:30 - 1:30pm

Description: General information session about the academic year Peking University-Yale University Joint Undergraduate Program

Environmental Studies & Sustainable Development Study Abroad
When: Wed., September 30, 4 - 5pm
Where: Center for International Experience, 55 Whitney Ave; 3rd floor rm. 305

Description:  Are you interested in studying the environment and sustainability from a global perspective? Come to this session to learn about environmental and sustainable development programs abroad.




English Conversation Partners: Volunteers Needed!
One-on-One Conversations matches international students, scholars and their spouses/partners at Yale with volunteers from the New Haven and Yale communities for language and culture exchange. The time commitment is minimal and for the participants of this program the possible benefits include:

 *   Sharing your culture with others
 *   Expanding your understanding of people, the world and cross-cultural communication
 *   Practicing teaching skills
 *   Offering friendship across cultures
