Greetings,
We have a few faculty members who are interested in creating personal
collections for use by their students. Training faculty to create
personal collections is something I think I have a pretty good handle
on; however, I'm not sure of the best way to make these collections
accessible to the students, particularly if the instructor would like
access available only to students enrolled in the course.
My initial thought is to create a user w/ privs. to view the personal
collection. The instructor could then distribute this login to the
students in the class. Another solution (possibly easier) would be to
provide the instructor w/ a Browser Insight launch string to the
collection so that he or she could add to their course web pages or
WebCT. Has anyone out there solved this dilemma creatively?
Many thanks, Debbie
