David Overbey R.I.P.

I don't have the full facts, but it seems that David Overbey, senior 
programmer of the Toronto International Film Festival died of a heart 
attack last week.  Although he didn't curate this year's "New Beat 
from Japan" season, he seems to have been in charge of their Asian 
section over the years and recently spoke on a panel discussion in 
Pusan on the future of Asian film and the role of film festi
