Dear H-Japan Netters:

I've been off the Net and out of the loop for a while, and I apologize
if the matter I'd like to raise has already been discussed.  I'm
interested in learning about the circumstances of the film director Itami
Juzo's recent death.  I know only (through third-hand sources) that it was
reported to be a suicide, and that an alleged affair may have been a
factor.  I would be interested in any relevant information, and of any
assessments made in the press and/or elsewhere about Itami's career.
