The title is _Chinanee_ ????????--in English, I think, "Born to
Be Baby"?and is a documentary recording of a butoh dance performance
entitled "Tonari wa nani o suru hito zo" by Maro Akaji commissioned by
the Aichi Kenritsu Bijutsukan. While the dance piece was over an hour
and a half, Hayashi edited it down according to his vision and added a
drama section with Harada Yoshio which makes the dance portion Harada's
"dream."
If you have a Japanese capable browser, one review of the film is at the
following URL:

The BOX Higashi Nakano home page (the theater that originally showed it),
still has a description of it on their site (it includes a short English
description, too):

I don't have any info on its festival participation, sorry.
