I've got the booklet Haochang Li just mentioned at hand.
The title in Japanese is ???????.  (Nihon Eiga no Koken)

English title and other details seem to be as follows:
"My Favorite Work of Japanese Cinema" as chosen by 100 of the World's Film
Authorities.
Editors: Shiguehiko Hasumi and Sadao Yamane.
Publisher: Tokyo International Film Festival Office (Fax: 81-3-3563-6310).
Date of Publication: September 22, 1995.

As it was so popular, I heard that there aren't too many copies left.
