loosely on topic - Tokyo Eyes

Hello --

Last night I was watching a French talk show (from France 2) on Cannes,
which featured Jean-Pierre Limosin and his new film Tokyo Eyes.
It seemed to be filmed in Tokyo and features the young actors Takada Ai
and Takeda Shinji (according to the IMDB). There is a cameo segment from
Beat Takeshi. I don't speak French, so unfortunately I can only pass on
snippets my friend translated here and there. It seems to be a "polar"
or thriller, and the segments shown looked quite stylishly shot.
Limosin mentioned that he was a big fan of Kitano, and was a bit nervous
when Kitano was on the set for one day. They communicated only in
English (Limosin doesn't speak Japanese) and just before filming Kitano
asked a favour, to use an accent of a gangster he had met recently.
Apparently he thought the gangster would watch the movie and be amused
by the use of his accent.

Sorry that's all I could make out.
