It was reported in the paper the other day that Atsugi Taka, one of the
last surviving members of the leftwing Proletarian Film League (Prokino),
died the other day at age 91.  She was also well known as a scriptwriter
for documentary films and as editor in the postwar of the _Fujin shinbun_.

Can you recommend any good source(s) for information/commentary on this 
group? I'm a big fan of Taisho (and early Showa) proletarian literature, and 
many stories seem very cinematic in structure and technique.
