First "Japanese" Film in Korea

Despite press reports, no sign here in Seoul of "Love Apocalypse", but 
Park Chul-Soo's "Kazoku Cinema" is released on 28 November.  Kitano's 
"Hana-bi" is released one week later on 5 December, followed by 
Kurosawa's "Kagemusha" on 12 December.  But publicity campaigns for 
these two films are very low key, only the latter having posters on the 
subway system.  And the brochure for "Hana-bi", which folds out into a 
poster, only visible at the cinema it opens at next month.  General 
concensus here is that Japanese films will take about 10% of the Korean 
market; Korean films have about 18%, while of course Hollywood dominates 
with as much as 70% of the market.  (In comparison, when restrictions 
are lifted on Japanese music, its expected to take 20% of the market.)
