Dear Damon,
A retrospective of all of Takemitsu Toru's film music called
Dream/Window was held at Opera City in Tokyo in February of this year.
Perhaps somebody at the Opera City film office (03-5468-0444) could help
you locate prints and a catalogue of the retrospective. Apparently Peter
Grilli, the director of the Donald Keene Center of Japanese Culture at
Colombia University, is writing a book about Takemitsu and also
collaborated on the documentary film Music for the Movies: Toru
Takemitsu.
