Subtitlers

The people at the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival passed 
on this request to me:

The Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival, which is being held 
from October 19 to 15, 1999, is looking for experienced translators to 
help with the English subtitling of Japanese works being shown at this 
festival.  Those with experience in subtitling are preferred, but those 
with extensive Japanese to English translation experience who want to 
give subtitling a try are also welcome to apply.  Subtitlers will be paid 
(at about 10000 yen for ten minutes, depending on the film) and given 
screen credit.  Given the logists of subtitling, this call is restricted 
to those in Japan and preferably those in the Kanto area.
