Isao Kimura

    I'm a big fan of 1950s Japanese movies.  One of my favorite actors
from this period is Isao Kimura, who is most famous for his role as
Katsushiro in Seven Samurai.  Although he did not appear as lead in many
movies, in the movies that I've seen where he stars, I've always thought
he was very good.  He was especially good at playing emotionally
tormented characters, as in Ashizuri Misaki, Ningen Gyorai Kaiten, Kumo
Nagaruru Hate Ni, and Shinku Chitai.
    While I've seen Kimura in many Japanese films from the 1950s and
1960s, I haven't been able to find much information on him other than
the Japanese movie web site and the biography that his wife wrote after
his death.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me where I could find
more information on Kimura.  Also, if anyone has seen Okuman Choja
(1954), Honoo to Onna (1967), or Joen (1967) would you please share your
comments about these films.
