Tenno to seppun

Sitting next to my computer is the chirashi for a very unusual and
surprising event. It is a play by Rinkogun based on none other than Kyoko
Hirano's _Mr. Smith Goes to Washington_ (no joke).  Surely this is something
we should all aspire to. I look forward to the stage adaption of _To the
Distant Observer_!

The play, which uses the book's Japanese title Tenno to seppun (Emperor and
Kiss) is being staged at Shimokitazawa's Suzunari from November 13 to 29,
and in Osaka from December 3 to 5, and in Nagoya from December 8 to 12.
