Here are some of the Japanese films that won awards at the Yamagata 
International Documentary Film Festival as it closed this Monday, the 
25th:

New Asian Currents Special Mention
NETPAC Award Special Mention

    _Annyong Kimchi_ (dir. Matsue Tetsuaki)

FIPRESCI Award Special Mention

    _The New God_ (dir. Tsuchiya Yutaka)

NETPAC Award

    _The White_ (dir. Hirano Katsuyuki)
