kyoto fest

Some people were talking about KineJapaners getting together at the Kyoto 
Film Festival which is taking place this week.  Unfortunately, I can only 
take off enough time from work and child rearing to be at the Festival 
this weekend--the 25th and 26th. If people are interested, maybe we can 
get together after the jidaigeki symposium on the 25th (which I assume 
most people will be attending).  If Kato Sensei does not have any other 
plans, maybe he can rope Gunning and some of the other panelists into 
joining us for a "Japan film scholar" get-together?
